Homeland Tours
We aim to plan our family tours around your child’s school break schedule to minimize time missed from class. We’ll work with you to fit your family’s needs. We can help you every step of the way, from visa application to booking your flight to China!
The inaugural tour will follow the sample Homeland Itinerary provided here. Tours will depart every Friday from the U.S. beginning May 28th. Guests will fly into Guangzhou or Beijing for return to the U.S. Guests will have the option of flying out of Shanghai. Homeland tours are 15 days including travel time. As always – we can work with you to customize your tour options!
Here is what one of our families had to say about their recent Legacy Journey tour:
“Thank you for arranging our visit to the orphanages of Catherine and Laura. The trip went well, and was very illuminating to us. The directors of the orphanages could not have been nicer or more accommodating. And both of the translators were wonderful… Thank you, again, for all of your help.” - (Jackson Family)
Tour Departure Dates:
Our tours depart every Friday, starting May 28th through August 27th. Unlike other China tours, there is no need to wait for a large tour group. You can travel at a time that is best for your family.
You will also have an opportunity to help with our charity mission, Libraries of Love. You will lend a helping hand to build libraries in orphanages throughout China. For children who may never be adopted, this is an opportunity to provide them with tools for a hopeful future. You can impact China’s children in an amazing and touching way!
Families will also have the option of returning to the U.S. from Shanghai and experiencing the 2010 World Expo. Shanghai’s “Better City, Better Life” theme is expected to attract hundreds of nations from all corners of the globe.
We have a long history and a strong relationship with the CCAA, the Chinese Adoption Authority. We are proud to offer this service to families on our Homeland Tours. An orphanage visit is a one in a lifetime chance for your child to see where they spent the first part of their young lives. Witness firsthand the hard working and devoted orphanage staff that care for and nurture the children while they wait for their forever families. A truly amazing and rare opportunity not to be missed!
We offer an affordable and memorable tour experience. Compare prices and see for yourself!
